Take Me Through This On The Ground
4:30pm–5:00pm
Take me through this on the ground is a series of descriptive monologues that use language to build a story. Each monologue is based upon a different text. Through explication and discussion of subjects such as hockey, architecture, and weather, a larger story can form between each monologue.
This event is part of a performance series from 4:00pm- 6:00pm, followed by a short discussion.

Joey Weiss
Joey Weiss and Matthew Korahais have been working together for two years. Their work can take the form of performance, installation, and video. Recently they have covered the evolution of fish to man, sports, and changing weather. Matthew Korahais is a performer and writer, who has worked with Nature Theater of Oklahoma, 600 Highwaymen, Sibyl Kempson, Paul Ketchum, and others. He can also be seen in the upcoming Doomocracy from Creative Time and Pedro Reyes. Joey Weiss has a background in visual arts, and works in multiple formats including video, performance, and painting. He is part of the collaborative group Songs To Live By, with composer and musician Marco Panella.
