To Fail as No Other Dare: Imperfection in the Creative Process

Wednesday, October 5
4:30pm–6:00pm
Segal Theatre

Accidents. Incoherence. Miscalculations. Errors of judgment. In the mythology of America’s entrepreneurs, failure is just a laudable step on the path to inevitable success. Artists in the same economy take a less sentimental view. This panel invites leading performance makers to discuss how they think about and engage endemic failure.

Participants: John Collins (Artistic Director, Elevator Repair Service), Sibyl Kempson (Playwright), and Brian Rogers (The Chocolate Factory Theater).

Moderated by Antje Oegel and Tom Sellar.
